A traditional, celebratory fruitcake based on Old World German and Dutch recipes, handmade to order from scratch for perfect authenticity with carefully selected, quality ingredients.

Our Stollen loaf, filled with delicious marzipan, studded with candied fruit and nuts and generously dusted with powdered sugar is delicious, aromatic and perfect for any occasion.

This loaf is a little on the denser side, mostly because it is soaked in butter after it finishes cooking, but that just means it's stupendously yummy. like most fruitcake, the density and intensity are a point of pride.

We recommend that you warm it up gently (a few seconds for slices in the microwave, a few minutes in the oven whole, etc) re-dust lightly with powdered sugar and enjoy it with some warm cocoa or your favorite hot beverage. Great for Christmas morning!

The Stollen are shipped in vacuum seal and will become denser during transit. this is normal. Warming them up will "fluff" them back up.

in some cases, the powdered sugar may reabsorb some of the "juices" from the loaf (yes, they are shipped so fresh that in some cases they haven't absorbed all the basting liquid) and turn melty. This is perfectly normal and while we recommend re-dusting the top with a small amount of powdered sugar, the flavor and texture are not affected in any way, and following the instructions in the listing will yield a wonderful, celebratory treat for you and your loved ones.
